So my man, Serg, and I are embarking on a new Thursday party in a couple weeks in San Francisco (more details to come). For all my bay area folks, expect to hear a musical collage of African goodness meshed with caribbean rhythms… in other words: food for the soul.

In honor of the event, I put together this mix of classic mid-tempo west African numbers from recent years.
